Abbott's mid-volume Architect chemistry analyzer, rebuilt Down-To-Frame® to original specification. Pay up to 70% less than new, starting with $0 down.
The Abbott Architect c4000 runs photometric, turbidimetric and ICT electrolyte testing at up to 800 tests an hour, with 100 samples and 90 refrigerated reagent positions onboard. Its software, sample carriers and reagent cartridges match the rest of the Architect family. Refurbished by Diamond, it costs up to 70% less than new.
The c4000 runs photometric, turbidimetric and potentiometric tests in one floor-standing unit, controlled from Abbott's System Control Center. Abbott builds every Architect analyzer on identical technology, reagents and assay protocols, so a c4000 reports results equivalent to a c8000 or c16000.
The Architect c4000 runs up to 800 tests an hour, the Architect c8000 up to 1,200 and the Alinity c up to 1,350. The c4000 takes about 15.6 sq ft of floor, close to the Alinity c and about 42% less than a c8000.
Like every Architect chemistry analyzer, the c4000 counts each sodium, potassium and chloride result from the ICT module as a test, so your real hourly output depends on how much of your menu is electrolytes.

The c4000 runs on its own as a chemistry analyzer. Add an Architect i1000SR immunoassay analyzer and the two become a ci4100, one system run from one System Control Center.
Standalone c4000. Run up to 800 chemistry tests an hour from 100 samples and 90 refrigerated reagent positions.
Architect ci4100. Join chemistry and immunoassay to run up to 900 tests an hour, 800 chemistry and 100 immunoassay, with 180 samples and 115 refrigerated reagent positions onboard.
Your analyzer plus a refurbished partner. If you already own a c4000 or an i1000SR, we'll supply and install the other half of the ci4100.
A backup for a larger Architect lab. Put a c4000 beside your c8000 or ci8200. It takes the same reagent cartridges and sample carriers, so your techs move work between them without changing how they load.

Send us your room layout and utilities, and we'll check them against the c4000 before you commit.
The c4000 suits labs whose chemistry volume fits within 800 tests an hour, and labs that already run Architect.
Community and smaller hospital labs. Run the c4000 as your main chemistry analyzer, with 35 priority positions for ED and inpatient STAT samples.
Larger Architect labs that need a backup. Keep a c4000 beside your other Abbott Architect analyzers. The technology is identical, including reagents and assay protocols, so all analyzers report equivalent results.
Labs replacing an aging c4000 or ci4100. Swap in a rebuilt unit and keep the methods and workflows your staff already know.
Labs staying on Architect. Add capacity on the platform you've validated, and move to Alinity on your own schedule.
Labs that want reagent flexibility. Run alternative reagents on certain tests where your methods allow.
Abbott prices a new Architect c4000 through its sales contracts, often bundled into a reagent agreement that spreads the analyzer's cost across your per-test pricing. We price each refurbished c4000 individually, starting from its year of manufacture. Whichever unit fits your lab, you pay up to 70% less than new and own it outright.
You deal with one company for the rebuild, the installation and every service call after that, and our own engineers handle each one.

Diamond is registered with the FDA, and our US and EU operations are certified to ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 13485:2016, the quality management standard for medical device manufacturers. Independent auditors review our procedures against both.
We install your c4000, program your assays and verify them before you test patient samples. Once it's running, you can book on-site operator training on the instrument, your menu, adding parameters, preventive maintenance and operator-level troubleshooting, with an hour set aside for your team's questions.
Replacing an older chemistry analyzer? We'll buy it and take its value off your c4000. We deinstall it, decontaminate it, arrange the pickup and pay the freight, so you don't store it or pay to dispose of it.
Every c4000 we sell qualifies for our field service coverage. If you already own a c4000, we'll qualify it and cover it the same way.
Up to 800, counting photometric, turbidimetric and ICT electrolyte results. Your actual output depends on your test mix.
Abbott sets the price of a new c4000 by contract, often inside a reagent agreement. Refurbished by Diamond, a c4000 costs up to 70% less than new. We price each unit individually, based on its year of manufacture, the configuration and the services you add.
A c8000 handles up to 1,200 tests an hour and loads 215 samples on a 79 x 49 in footprint. A c4000 handles up to 800 and loads 100 samples on 63 x 36 in. Both run the same Architect software, reagents and assay protocols.
The Alinity c is Abbott's current chemistry platform, running up to 1,350 tests an hour with the option to add modules. The c4000 runs up to 800 tests an hour and matches the Architect analyzers you may already own. If you run Architect today and your volume fits within 800 tests an hour, the c4000 keeps your lab on one platform.
Yes. We pair a refurbished i1000SR with your c4000 and install them together as a ci4100, which runs up to 900 tests an hour.
On certain tests, yes, where your methods allow. Ask us which tests on your menu qualify.
AC power at 180 to 264 V and 47 to 63 Hz on a 20 A circuit, plus deionized water at about 15 L (4.0 gal) an hour, rising to 25 L (6.6 gal) at peak.
You can lease or finance up to $2 million with $0 down and low introductory payments. A credit application alone covers up to $400,000, and shipping can go into the financed amount.
Yes. We buy the analyzer you're replacing, apply its value to your c4000, and handle the deinstallation, decontamination, pickup and freight.
Yes. Our engineers install it and program and verify your assays before you run patient samples. You can add on-site operator training once installation is done.
Yes. After we qualify it, it's eligible for the same field service plans as the c4000s we sell.
Yes. Reagents and consumables for the c4000 are available through Diamond Diagnostics.
